MINUTES OF MEETING
A regular meeting of the Board of License Commissioners was held on July 20, 2020 over the Zoom
meeting platform, and called to order by Commissioner Sarefield at 6:01 PM. Commissioners Boscardin
and Zarrella were also present. FPD Liaison Lieutenant Howe was present.
Mr. Wayne Dunbar, Manager of the Lions Club, and Mr. Bill diMario, owner and manager of Great
Road, LLC were also present.
I. REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PRIOR MEETING(S)
The minute from the following previous meetings were approved by roll-call vote 2/0. (Commissioner
Zarrella abstained from the vote as he was not yet on the Commission during these meetings)
March 4th, March 16th, April 6th, May 4th, May 18th, June 1st.
II. APPLICATIONS
Special One Day License – All Alcoholic Beverages
1. Fitchburg Lions Club, 14 Wallace Avenue, for Reception, from 4PM to 11PM on Saturday,
October 10, 2020 for 80 people at the O’Neill Hall.
Wayne Dunbar, manager of the Lions Club, was present at the meeting. Mr. Dunbar noted that
this was a new date, but a re-application of an existing approval. Approved by roll-call vote.

III. PUBLIC HEARING
NEW Farmer Series Pouring Permit of an Annual On-Premises Malt Beverages License
Green Road, LLC dba Thirsty Robot Brewing, 265 Summer Street
Bill diMario, Owner and Manager of Great Road, LLC was present. The City Clerk explained that due
to a publication issue, more time was required to give notice to the abutters. Commissioner Sarefield
opened the public hearing and then continued the hearing to a Special Meeting of August 3rd in order to
give abutters the required time to present comments. Meeting continued to August 3rd by roll-call vote.

V. NEW BUSINESS
A brief discussion ensued noting that Beemer’s had been placed for auction and that Singapore Restaurant
might reopen again under new management.
The meeting adjourned at 6:25 PM.
