MINUTES OF MEETING
A Special meeting of the Board of License Commissioners was held on August 2, 2021 over the Zoom
meeting platform, and called to order by Commissioner Sarefield at 11:00 AM. Commissioner Boscardin
was present. FPD Liaison Lieutenant Howe was present.
I. DISCUSSION AND APPROVAL PROCESS FOR ANY TEMPORARY ALTERATION OF
PREMISES LICENSES, AS REQUIRED (Strong Style Coffee ELP-21-4).
Kim Jones, applicant, was present at the meeting. Ms. Jones noted that they intended to extend the
premises to incorporate the area on Mill Street near the Mill Street stage in order to ensure safe
consumption in the area. She also stated that she had been working with Reimagine North Main when
she was creating her plan. Commissioner Sarefield reminded Ms. Jones that the application would
only be valid as a temporary measure, and that if she wished this to be a permanent change, she should
consider the ABCC application to do so. Ms. Jones agreed and stated that the temporary license would
provide her with data regarding costs and staffing.
Application approved by roll call vote 2/0.
The meeting adjourned at 11:10 AM.
