MINUTES OF MEETING
A Special meeting of the Board of License Commissioners was held on August 30, 2021 over the Zoom
meeting platform, and called to order by Commissioner Sarefield at 11:05 AM. Commissioner Boscardin
was present. FPD Liaison Lieutenant Howe was present.
1. Mill Street Stage., Boulder Drive and Main Street, to Amend existing Entertainment Permit to include
Main Street in event of Thursday, September 2 from 6PM to 9:30 PM.
Mr. Joe Ferguson was present at the meeting. Mr. Ferguson explained that due to road closures,
possible lower attendance, and rain in the forecast, he would not be pursuing the amendment at this
time. He noted that he would likely attend a future meeting in order to plan for a Halloween block party
in October. Application given leave to withdraw by unanimous consent 2/0.
2. Tribute Remembrance in Honor of LCpl Ronald O. Valentin, Coolidge Park, 198 Townsend Street, for
Entertainment Permit for September 5, 2021 2-6PM. (PA-21-30)
Ms. Gloria Curry was present at the meeting. Ms. Curry noted that there would be music being played
in honor of LCpl Valentin, as well as a microphone available for family and friends to speak.
Commissioner Sarefield expressed the thanks of the Board and the City for LCpl Valentin’s service.
Application approved by roll call vote 2/0.
The meeting adjourned at 11:28 AM.
