MINUTES OF MEETING
A special meeting of the Board of License Commissioners was held on August 12, 2022 over the Zoom
meeting platform, and called to order by Commissioner Sarefield at 10:01 AM. Commissioner Boscardin
was present, Commissioner Zarrella was absent. FPD Liaison Lieutenant Howe was also present.
I. NEW APPLICATIONS
Monday through Saturday Entertainment Permit
1. Najid Figueroa, on behalf of the LUK. Inc., Common Ground Basketball Tournament, for a
Special One Day live amplified music, DJ on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 8:00AM - 5:00PM,
at Fitz Memorial Park, 55 North Street.
Najid Figueroa was present at the meeting. LUK is hosting a walk for peace, will have
informational tables, local vendors, products, food trucks, and DJ. The DJ will start at 10:00AM –
4:00PM.
Lieutenant Howe informed the board there are no issues, LUK is a great organization.
Motion to approve the application for a Monday – Saturday entertainment license for the stated
date was approved by unanimous consent 2/0.
The meeting adjourned at 10:07 AM
