MINUTES OF MEETING
A special meeting of the Board of License Commissioners was held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 via
zoom and called to order by Commissioner Sarefield at 9:06 AM. Commissioner Boscardin and Fossa were
present. Joanna Bilotta, City Clerk and Elizabeth McNiff, Assistant City Clerk were present.
I. NEW APPLICATIONS
Please note that the Commission may enter into Executive Session pursuant to G.L. c. 30A, sec. 21(a)
(5) (Discussion of CORI results), if required during this portion of the Agenda, and will return to
regular session upon completion.
Monday – Saturday Entertainment Permit
Achla Bahl Madan, Blacksmith Festival, 51 Commercial Street, Riverfront Park, Saturday,
September 28, 2024 for live amplified music from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, for approximately 200
people.
Ms. Madan was not present at the meeting. Commissioner Boscardin stated that this is a yearly event
that occurs every year and there had never been a problem. Commissioner Sarefield reviewed the
application and verified that all entertainment must be concluded thirty minutes prior to closing.
Lt. Howe was not present at the meeting but shared VIA email upon receiving the agenda that the FPD
had no concerns.
Application approved by unanimous roll call vote 3/0.
