A meeting of the COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SAFETY will be held on:
Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 6:00 PM
Memorial Middle School Library
615 Rollstone St., Fitchburg, MA
The Agenda will consist of the following:
092-14. Mark Dufour, Dufour Truck and Equipment, for a Class II Dealer’s License
located at 24 Rollstone St.
078-13. Councillor Clark, to place “no parking” signs opposite from the already existing
signs from South and Ellis Street to Ellis and Kingsbury Street.
109-13. Councillor Jody Joseph and Clement Cotnoir, to place a crosswalk at the corner of
Jeffrey St. and Electric Ave. This would allow Mr. Cotnoir access to the adjacent
sidewalk.
110-13. Various Residents of High Street, to slow down speeders on High Street.
121-13. Councillor Thibault-Munoz, to request that the City Hall 718 Main St. Parking lot
be used as public parking to alleviate lack of parking on the upper section of
parking for small businesses.
122-13. Councillor Thibault-Munoz, to request that a senior parking permit for the parking
lot located on Boulder Drive and Putnam Place be given for Monday through
Thursday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
123-13. Councillor David Clark, to place a 2 hour parking sign at the intersection of
Forest and Laurel St.
124-13. Councillor Thibault-Munoz, to request a cross walk on the bottom of Simonds St.
in the intersection of High St.
176-13. Councillor Joel Kaddy to narrow and raise crosswalks on Main Street at Blossom,
Prichard and Oliver Streets.
177-13. Councillor Dolores Thibault-Munoz to install a berm and paving to create a
sidewalk and parking meters in the adequate spaces on the corner of Elm Street
and Oliver Street in front of the old Fire Station.
028-14. Councillor Marcus L. DiNatale, Bernie Schultz, and Mike Romano, to review and
provide remedy to speeding issues, preferably electronic speed signage and/or
crosswalk, in front of Romano’s Market on Harvard Street.
