A meeting of the COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SAFETY was held on
Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 700 Main Street, Legislative Building, Fitchburg, MA
and called to order by Chairman Amy Green at 6:35 PM.
Committee members present in Council Chambers: Councillors Green, Schultz, Couture,
Hughes
Others present: Sgt. Boudreau, Chief Martineau
The following recommendation was made:
166-21. Councilor Bernard Schultz III and Amy Green, to amend the Code of the City of
Fitchburg, Section 169, No Parking on Ellis Street as outlined in the enclosed
Petition.
The Public Safety Committee recommended by unanimous consent that the Petition be
granted.
Notes: Change Signage to No Parking Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 10 AM and 2 PM – 4 PM
The meeting was adjourned at 6:38 PM.
