FLORA TOURISM​ The Depot – Train Room​ September 17th, 2025 – 5:00 pm The meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm by Vice President Lacey Lewis. Committee members Present: Lacey Lewis, Chris Thompson, Anna Rounds, Phil Wiley and Stephen Smith (by phone). Absent: Jen Henson, Previous minutes were read and a motion to approve was made by Phil and seconded by Lacey. The financial report was tabled at this time. OLD BUSINESS None NEW BUSINESS Expenses: A motion to approve $1175 to Wild Rose Boutique for inflatables was made by Phil and seconded by Lacey. A motion to approve $227.71 to reimburse Chris Thompson for games was made by Lacey and seconded by Phil. A motion to approve $1500 to Thomas Borders for “Monkey Business” monster truck was made by Phil and seconded by Chris. A motion to approve $619.71 to reimburse Stephen Smith for sample glasses was made by Anna and seconded by Chris. Ford Town: Discussion was made to try and get a police escort to bring in Monkey Business as well as for when he leaves. Misc. discussion was made on who will be available to help the days of, what is still needed from the city in regards to water and electric, discussion regarding food trucks, and misc.
