FLORA TOURISM The Depot – Train Room January 14th, 2026 – 5:15 pm The meeting was called to order at 5:15 pm by President Stephen Smith. Committee members Present: Lacey Lewis, Chris Thompson, Phil Wiley, and Stephen Smith. Absent: GUESTS: Arriel Dulaney Previous minutes were read and a motion to approve was made by Phil and seconded by Chris. The financial report was presented and motion was made to table. OLD BUSINESS - KrisKindle Market - Flop because of weather. All agreed was a good plan just happened to be the coldest days of the year. Discussion that the ice rink will be replaced with something else next year. NEW BUSINESS EXPENSES: A Motion was made by Lacy to pay Karl Connell ($300.00) for playing Santa, Seconded by Phil. Springfest: - Date: May 16th 2026 9-3 - We will need 2nd street to north main down to 3rd street blocked off. - Looking for vendors, inflatables - Will have a BBQ cook off and beer/wine vendors. Band - Colton Klein or Matt Luvitt. The event will be a Jurored event to prevent multiple of the same vendors. OTHER: Need to get tourism out of the storage closet at the depot. Anna Rounds presented her letter of resignation to the committee and Mike Stanford. Adjourn – Adjourned at 6:00 PM with a motion made by Lacy and seconded by Chris.
