Community Meeting – Proposed 2025 Project Informational Meeting

May 10, 2024 RE: Foley, Minnesota 2025 Street & Utility Improvements SEH No. FOLEY 175938 14.00 Dear Property Owner: The City of Foley is considering reconstructing several streets in 2025, including portions of 3rd Avenue, 4th Avenue, Broadway Avenue, Murphy Street, Parent Street, and 4th Avenue North Alley. You are being notified because the proposed project affects your property. See the attached Figure No. 1 for the project location. An informal project informational meeting is planned for Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at Foley City Hall. Proposed Project Scope, Schedule, Cost, and Preliminary Special Assessment information will be available at the meeting. The project is in the feasibility design stage with construction proposed for 2025. The scope of the project includes: • Reconstruction of the streets and sidewalks • Reconstruction of watermain and sanitary sewer systems • Storm water improvements • Special assessments. The street improvements are proposed to include special assessments to benefitting properties per the City’s assessment policy. Attached to this letter is the preliminary estimate of your property’s special assessment.
