Citizen Testimony At this time, any person who desires to speak on any item posted on the agenda or any person with business before the City Council not scheduled on the agenda may speak to the City Council provided that a “Speaker’s Request Form” has been completed and provided to the City Secretary no later than the posted start time of the City Council meeting. Speakers are limited to a maximum of three (3) minutes. The Council cannot respond to matters not listed on the agenda until scheduled at a future meeting. Consent Agenda All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will not be a separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member so requests, in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. a) Consider approval of Ordinance 2026-14, an ordinance of the City of Forest Hill, Texas, authorizing and calling for the November 3, 2026, Special Municipal Election for the purpose of electing a person to the office of Council member Place 2; authorizing a joint election with other Tarrant County Political Subdivisions; authorizing a contract for election services with Tarrant County; and providing a runoff date. b) Consider approval of Ordinance 2026-15, an ordinance of the City of Forest Hill, Texas, ordering a Special Election on November 3, 2026, to vote on a proposition to reauthorize the local sales and use tax within the City of Forest Hill, Texas, at the rate of one-fourth of one percent for maintenance and repair of municipal streets. c) Consider approval of Ordinance 2026-16, an ordinance of the City of Forest Hill, Texas, ordering a Special Election on November 3, 2026, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the City of Forest Hill, Texas, certain proposed amendments to the existing City Charter.
