MINUTES ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD MEETING Forney City Hall, 101 East Main Street Forney, TX 75126 Thursday, October 27, 2022 – 6:00 p.m. I. CALL TO ORDER Board member Christie Conaway called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present were board members and alternates Christie Conaway, Brandi Westmoreland, Richard Hansen and Noman Habib. Also, present were Senior City Planner Alex Dixon and Board Secretary Gladis Saldana. Board members Sandy Blair, Richard Cunningham and Brandon Gladney were absent. II. CONSENT ITEMS 1. Consider approval of the September 22, 2022, Architectural Review Board meeting minutes. Brandi Westmoreland made a motion to approve the minutes. Richard Hansen seconded the motion. The motion passed by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays. III. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS 1. Hold a public hearing and discuss and consider approval of a request for a certificate of appropriateness, in accordance with the Historic Overlay Zone District Regulations for exterior changes to the main structure located at 104 E. Main Street. Senior planner Alex Dixon introduced the item. The applicant was present to answer any questions. During public comment no one spoke. Mrs. Conaway closed the public hearing. Board members reviewed the exhibits and discussed the request. Richard Hansen made a motion to approve the request. Noman Habib seconded the motion. The motion passed by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays. 2. Hold a public hearing and discuss and consider approval of a request for a certificate of appropriateness, in accordance with the Historic Overlay Zone District Regulations for exterior changes to the main structure located at 112 E.
