NOTICE OF OPEN DELIBERATIONS Pursuant to the provisions of Section 142.063 of the Texas Local Government Code, notice is hereby given of “meet and confer” deliberations between representatives of the City of Forney, Texas, and representatives of the Forney Fire Association. The deliberations will be held in the City Hall -Upstairs Conference Room, 101 E. Main St., 2nd Floor, Forney, Texas, on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. General Information Applicable to the Meeting: Members of the public are welcome to attend and monitor the deliberations, but active participation in the discussions or presentations is expressly prohibited unless otherwise permitted by the ground rules established between the City and Association representatives. Notwithstanding the open nature of the meetings, Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, together with Section 142.063 of the Texas Local Government Code, expressly authorize the City or Association representatives to caucus in closed, private meetings at any time during the deliberations.
