Fort Mill Town Council Meeting Monday January 13, 2020 6:00 PM Meeting Location: Council Chambers 112 Confederate Street, Fort Mill, SC Agenda CALL TO ORDER 6:00 pm PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE INVOCATION MINUTES Minutes of the December 9, 2019 meeting. PUBLIC COMMENT Pursuant to Section 2-46 of the Code of Ordinances for the Town of Fort Mill, any resident may appear before council for the purpose of providing public comments on any municipal matter (except personnel matters). Those who wish to speak must sign the Public Comment sheet prior to the start of the meeting. PRESENTATIONS Presentation #1 Swearing in Guynn Savage as Mayor for a 4-year term ending January 2024. – Judge Kyle Hobbs Presentation #2 Swearing in Chris Moody as Council Member for Ward 4 for a 4-year term ending January 2024. – Judge Kyle Hobbs Presentation #3 Swearing in Ronald Helms as Council Member for Ward 2 for a 4-year term ending January 2024. – Judge Kyle Hobbs FORT MILL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING 01-13-2020 1 Presentation #4 Swearing in Lisa E. Cook as Council Member for At Large Seat #2 for a 4-year term ending January 2024. – Judge Kyle Hobbs OLD BUSINESS ITEMS There are no Old Business items. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS New Business Item #1 Vote for Mayor Pro Tem position to be filled for a 1-year term ending January 2021. New Business Item #2 First Reading and Public Hearing – An ordinance amending the Zoning Map of the Town of Fort Mill so as to change the zoning designation for York County Tax Map Numbers 020-13- 01-062, and 020-13-01-060, containing approximately 3.267 +/- acres located along Banks Road, from GI General Industrial to HC Highway Commercial. (Ward 4) – Penelope G. Karagounis New Business Item #3 First Reading and Public Hearing – An ordinance amending Article I, Section 7, Subsection I(1)(A) of the Zoning Ordinance for the Town of Fort Mill; so as to add specific parking requirements for hospitals and in-patient medical facilities; to amend the parking requirements for religious centers; to provide for a public hearing; and, to provide for other matters relating thereto – Penelope G. Karagounis INFORMATION/DISCUSSION Information/Discussion Item #1 Update on current projects – Davy Broom EXECUTIVE SESSION Please Note: Council may take action on Executive Session Items listed on the agenda when they come back into Public Session.
