Fort Mill Town Council Workshop Minutes Monday March 2, 2020 5:30 PM Meeting Location: Conference Room 200 Tom Hall Street, Fort Mill, SC PRESENT: Mayor Savage, Councilwoman Heemsoth, Councilman Moody, Councilman Helms, Councilwoman Cook, Councilman Shirey and Councilman Shirey were present. Davy Broom, Town Manager; Chris Pettit, Assistant Town Manager and Virginia Burgess, Town Clerk were also present. CALL TO ORDER PRESENTATION Presentation #1 MASC Council Training – Jeff Shacker Jeff Shacker, Field Services Manager with the Municipal Association of South Carolina went over the roles and responsibilities of Council. INFORMATION/DISCUSSION Information/Discussion Item #1 2020 Strategic Planning Session – Jeff Shacker Mr. Shacker went over different models for prioritizing goals, objectives or tasks. It was decided that he would take the information that Council gave him and help come up with a focused strategic plan. Mayor Savage made a MOITON to move the regular scheduled meeting for Monday April 13, 2020 to Tuesday April 14, 2020 due to that Monday being a Town holiday. SECONDED by Councilman Moody. Passed 7-0. ADJOURNMENT Councilman Moody made a MOITON to adjourn. SECONDED by Councilwoman Heemsoth. Passed 7-0. The workshop adjourned at 8:47 pm.
