FORTY FORT BOROUGH WORK SESSION MINUTES JULY 15, 2013 The July work session of the Forty Fort Borough Council was held on Monday, July 15, 2013 immediately following the special council meeting at the Forty Fort Borough Bldg., 1271 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, PA. with President Joseph Chacke presiding. Council members present were as follows: Robert Craig, Dorothy Craig, Karen Martinelli, Charles Rick Kamus & Frank Michaels. Betty Mascelli was excused. Topics discussed were: ‐ Ms. Fairchild presented the proposal from Freedom Systems software for Document Management. ‐ It was noted that due to staffing problems, the pool would likely need to close on August 19, 2013. ‐ The re surfacing of the basket ball courts at the Forty Fort Park was discussed. The cost to the job properly would be nearly $100,000.00. ‐ The possibility of having a comprehensive plan for the borough was discussed. Ms. Fairchild will investigate some companies that do this, ask for estimates for proposals to be looked at for the 2014 budget. ‐ Mrs. Craig told council that the recent events of the Families for Forty Fort Park have been well received by the public. They have several upcoming events planned. Meeting was adjourned at 9:15 PM.
