FORTY FORT BOROUGH SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES MONDAY, JULY 15, 2024 The Special Council mee ng of the Forty Fort Borough Council was held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the Forty Fort Borough Bldg., 1271 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, PA, with council president, Thomas J. Murray, III, presiding. President Murray called the mee ng to order at 6:00 PM with the following council members present: Phil Mertz, Frank Mazza, David Sieminski via telephone, Kristy Dadurka & Sara Michaels. Cara Devine was absent. Also present were A y. Greg Skibitsky, Mayor Brian Thomas, Chief Dan Hunsinger, Code O cials, Tom Craig & Lee Hampton & Borough Manager, Bonnie Arnone. Le ers of interest to ll the Commission vacancy on the Civil Service Commission have been received and distributed to council from William F. Stone, Jr. and Steven Cosle . Mo on by Mr. Sieminski to nominate William F. Stone, Jr. to the Commission posi on on the Commission. Second by Mr. Mertz. Mo on by Mr. Mazza to nominate Steven Cosle to the Commission posi on. There was no second to the Mo on. Roll call vote on the mo on to nominate Mr. Stone showed the following: YES: Mr. Mertz, Mr. Mazza, Mr. Sieminski, Ms. Dadurka, Ms. Michaels & Mr. Murray. Mo on passed. At this me, Mayor Thomas swore Mr. Stone in as the Commissioner of the Forty Fort Civil Service Commission. Mo on by Mr. Mertz to hire Michael Pikai s, Jr. as a part- me employee of the Department of Public Works. Second by Ms. Michaels. All council was in favor of this mo on. Mo on passed. With there being no further business to conduct, a mo on to adjourn the mee ng was made at 6:08 PM by Mr. Mertz and seconded by Ms. Michaels.
