‭BOH MEETING MINUTES‬ ‭9/6/2023‬ ‭Bridget Sweet, Chair absent, In attendance: Timothy Cochrane Jr., Vice Chair; Jeffrey Harris, Member;‬ ‭Cathleen Liberty, Director; Ginny McNeil, Health Agent; Alicia Sullivan, Public Health Nurse; John‬ ‭Robertson, Shared Service Grant Regional Inspector; Steve Sherlock recording and Maureen Canesi‬ ‭Administrative Assistant‬ ‭In attendance via Google Meet: Alan Earls‬ ‭Vice Chair, Timothy Cochrane called the Meeting to order at 5:12 pm‬ ‭APPROVAL OF MINUTES‬ ‭BOH Member Jeff Harris made a motion to accept the BOH Minutes of June 6, 2023. BOH Vice Chair‬ ‭Timothy Cochrance seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.‬ ‭PUBLIC HEARING‬ ‭Vice Chair Timothy Cochrane read the Introduction for the Public Hearing regarding the discussion on the‬ ‭implementation of an amendment to the Tobacco Products and Smoking Regulation.‬ ‭Member Jeff Harris made a motion to open the Public Hearing at 5:16 pm. Vice Chair Timothy Cochrane‬ ‭seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Health Director Liberty commented on the changes‬ ‭made to the Regulation. Member Jeff Harris made a motion to close the Hearing at 5:20 pm. Vice Chair‬ ‭Timothy Cochrane seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.‬ ‭Metacomet Shared Service Grant Inspector Update‬ ‭Regional Inspector John Robertson updated the board with the Regional Inspector Report for the month‬ ‭of August, 2023.‬ ‭Metacomet Public Health Nurse Update‬ ‭Public Health Nurse Alisha Sullivan updated the board with the Public Health Report for the month of‬ ‭August, 2023.‬ ‭Metacomet Shared Service Grant Epidemiologist Update‬ ‭Epidemiologist Cassia Monteiro updated the board with the Epidemiologist Report for the month of‬ ‭August 2023.‬ ‭BOH Director‬ Cathleen Liberty ‭updated the Board on the Food Summit‬‭which is being held September‬ ‭27th.‬ ‭CITIZENS COMMENTARY‬ ‭ADJOURNMENT‬ ‭Member Jeff Harris made a motion to adjourn at 5:35 pm.
