Franklin Cultural Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, February 7th 2024; 7:30-9:00PM Franklin Municipal Building, Town Hall Conference Room 205 ATTENDEES ● John Ristaino, Sarah Cronin, Lauren Sanford, Pushpa Jangreddi, Swati Rao, Jean Wolf VOTING ON MINUTES ● January 17, 2024 meeting minutes were voted on All Board members voted “yea” to approve the minutes BUDGET UPDATES ● The FCC’s financial report has also been settled with the MCC at this time. ● Grant reimbursements will begin coming in as projects are completed. GRANT RECIPIENT RECEPTION ● Council members discussed hosting a reception for grant recipients along with the Franklin Cultural District Committee. ○ Proposed date for the event is April 4, 2024 ○ Dean College will likely be the venue, hoping for the atrium in the student center. More information to come once this can be confirmed with personnel at Dean. ○ John LoPresti will be the point of contact from the FCDC for this event, along with Chair John Ristaino of the FCC. MEETINGS FOR REMAINDER OF THE YEAR ● Proposed Dates are: March 13th, April 24th, May 22nd, and June 12th. UPCOMING MEETING ● Members of the Franklin Cultural Council will meet again on March 13th, 2024. ADJOURN.
