250th Anniversary Celebration Committee (Special Meeting) 250th Anniversary Celebration Committee Minutes March 3. 2026 7:30 PM Meeting was held exclusively via Zoom. Participants included Jayson Joyce, Alan Earls, Lyn Pickhover, Roberta Trahan, Deb Pellegri, Rob Browne, Julie Cornoni, Matt Keras, Ali Rheaume 1. Announcements from the chair 2. Matter for Discussion; A Vote to authorize a deposit to secure event space at Lake Pearl for the November 3, 2028 Gala This item produced a lengthy discussion with Lyn and Alan expressing some concerns about the cost and questioning whether a venue could be found in Franklin. This prompted considerable discussion with members of the Events subcommittee offering assurances and explaining their thinking and accounting thoughts. Alan eventually offered a motion to approve the deposit of $1,000 and this was approved unanimously on a roll call vote. 3. Adjournment was voted unanimously by roll call vote shortly after 8 pm.
