Notice is hereby given that the Town of Franklin Board of Health will hold a Public hearing on February 6, 2019 at 5:00 pm in the Town Council Chambers at the Franklin Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street, Franklin, MA The Franklin Board of health will hold a public hearing for the purpose of amending the Board of Health Tobacco Regulation. The proposed amendments are to provide increased oversight and regulation of the sale of flavored tobacco and nicotine products by restricting the sale of these products to age-restricted retail tobacco stores, capping the total number of tobacco sales permits issued in the Town of Franklin and adding several new definitions to the current regulation. A copy of the proposed regulation may be reviewed in its entirety Monday through Friday during regular office hours in the Franklin Health Department office or the office of the Town Clerk, Franklin, Municipal building, 355 East Central Street.
