FRYE, JR., WARD FOUR Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401 March 2, 2016 The Council of the City of Fredericksburg, Virginia, held a special session on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Executive Suite of City Hall. City Council Present. Mayor Mary Katherine Greenlaw, Vice-Mayor William C. Withers, Jr. and Council members Kerry P. Devine, Dr. Timothy P. Duffy and Matthew J. Kelly. Council Absent. Councilors Bradford C. Ellis and Charlie L. Frye, Jr. Also Present. Clerk of Council Tonya B. Lacey. Announcement of Closed Meetings for the Purpose of Interviewing Candidates for the Position of City Manager. Mayor Greenlaw announced that the City Council would be holding closed meetings to interview candidates for the position of City Manager at undisclosed locations during the next 15 days. Vice-Mayor Withers moved to certify the announcement; motion was seconded by Councilor Devine and passed by the following unanimously recorded votes. Ayes (5). Councilors Greenlaw, Withers, Devine, Duffy and Kelly. Nays (0). Adjournment.
