FRYE, JR., WARD FOUR Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401 Council Vision Meetings June 6, 2017 Vision Meeting with the Free Lance-Star Editorial Board The Council of the City of Fredericksburg, Virginia held a work session on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Free Lance-Star Conference Room. Council Present. Mayor Mary Katherine Greenlaw, Presiding. Vice-Mayor William C. Withers, Jr., Councilors Kerry P. Devine, Timothy P. Duffy, and Matthew J. Kelly. Council Absent. Bradford C. Ellis, Charlie L. Frye, Jr.-working. Also Present. City Manager Timothy J. Baroody, Assistant City Manager Mark Whitley, Assistant City Manager Doug Fawcett and Clerk of Council Tonya B. Lacey. Others Present. FLS Editorial Board Phil Jenkins, Jim Toler, Clint Schemmer and Dale Lachniet. Council Vision. Mayor Greenlaw explained that the Council held a retreat and at the retreat they put together goals and objectives that the City Manager uses for the budget and for the direction of the City. At the last retreat they put together a vision and eight (8) future states with a list of thirty-six (36) priorities. The Council reviewed the eight (8) future states and the thirty-six (36) priorities which can be seen on the attached documents. Adjournment.
