Council Present. Mayor Kerry P. Devine, Presiding. Vice-Mayor Charlie L. Frye, Jr. (6:13), Councilors Jonathan A. Gerlach, Jason N. Graham, Jannan W. Holmes and Will B. Mackintosh. Council Absent. Timothy P. Duffy, sick. Also Present. City Manager Timothy J. Baroody, Assistant City Manager Mark Whitley and Clerk of Council Tonya B. Lacey. Closed Session. Councilor Graham moved to go into closed session pursuant to Code of Virginia §2.2-3711 A(1): for discussion, consideration or interviews of prospective candidates for employment, specifically for the City Attorney position; motion was seconded by Councilor Gerlach and passed by the following recorded votes. Ayes (6). Councilors Devine, Frye, Gerlach, Graham, Holmes and Mackintosh. Nays (0). Return to Open Meeting Approved. Upon the motion of Councilor Graham; seconded by Vice-Mayor Frye and passed by the following recorded votes, Council approved a return to an open meeting. Ayes (6). Councilors Devine, Frye, Gerlach, Graham, Holmes and Mackintosh. Nays (0). Resolution 24-33, Approved, Certifying Closed Meeting. Upon the motion Councilor Graham, approved Resolution 24-33 certifying the closed meeting; seconded by Vice- Mayor Frye and passed by the following recorded votes. Ayes (6) Councilors Devine, Frye, Gerlach, Graham, Holmes and Mackintosh. Nays (0) 1  Adjournment. There being no further business to come before the Council at this time.
