Meeting called to order at 3.00 p.m. In attendance: Chair Rodriguez, Vice Chair Roberson, and Secretary Braman. 2. Closed Session: Time In: 3:12 p.m. Upon a motion by Electoral Board Member Robertson and seconded by Electoral Board Member Braman, and passed by a vote of the Electoral Board, the Electoral Board went into closed session pursuant to Section 2.2-3711 (A)(1) of the code of Virginia in consideration of security and personnel for the November 3 Election. Coming Out: 4:05 p.m. Certification: Upon a motion by Vice Chair Roberson and seconded by Chair Rodriguez seconded and passed by affirmative roll call vote in open session, it was certified that only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirement and only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the closed session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the closed session of the Electoral Board. Secretary Braman motioned and Vice Chair Roberson seconded to approve the Appraisal of the General Registrar. Passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 4:12 p.m. Next meeting will be on August 21 at noon for a Work Session.
