NOTICE City of Fredericksburg Electoral Board will meet to administer their duties regarding the November 5, 2024 Presidential Election Unless stated otherwise, the Electoral Board will meet at 601 Caroline Street, Suite 500, Fredericksburg VA 22401. November 5, 2024, 4:30am-10:00 pm: For the administration of their Election Day duties. Electoral Board will visit all precincts during the day. They will return to the Office of Voter Registration to conduct election night duties. November 6, 2024, 10:00 am: For the purpose of the Canvassing the votes from election day for all precincts, results from absentee by mail and absentee by person. Once the canvas of votes is completed, the board will move into closed session to adjudicate Provisionals. Once convened, the Electoral Board remains but will recess until a date and time to be determined, to complete the requirements of the election and to properly conduct and conclude other business required by the Code of the Commonwealth or the State Department of Elections, in finalizing the election. Portions of this meeting – beginning Monday November 4th, 2024, until their final adjournment – may include Closed Sessions as allowed by VFOIA §2.2-3711(A)(1, 7 & 8) and/or §24.2- 653.
