MINUTES AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE OCTOBER 18, 2013 – 8:15 A.M. FREMONT MUNICIPAL AIRPORT 1203 West 23rd Street, Fremont, Nebraska PRESENT: Chairman Eric Johnson, Members Bill Dugan, Michael McGillick, Dave Monke and Ron Vlach ABSENT: Members Haas, Kempenar and Steenblock GUESTS: Mayor Scott Getzschman, Planning Director Rian Harkins, Jim Kjeldgaard and Vic Rader Chairman Johnson called the meeting to order and announced a copy of the Open Meeting Law was available to the public. Roll Call Vote was taken – 5 present. Approval of the September 20, 2013 minutes A motion was made by Ron Vlach to approve the minutes from the September 20, 2013 meeting, second by Dugan. Roll Call Vote showed 5 ayes. Update on minor maintenance items Rain Harkins reported that they need three bids to repair the pump for the 100LL tank and that Mark Vyhlidal already has one and Rian will get the other two. Update on ALP update & terminal design project Rian Harkins reported that a selection has been made for the Consultant for this project and they will be starting negotiations soon. There is a meeting scheduled by telephone conference call on October 22, 2013 with NDA, FAA, Consultant (Airport Development Group) to discuss details. Update on airport financial information Rian handed out a summary. Questions were asked about farm leases. Mayor Scott Getzschman suggested that Jodi Sanders come to our November 15, 2013 meeting to present the financial reports in further detail. Adjournment at 8:45 a.m. 1
