AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE January 17, 2014 Meeting Minutes 8:15 A.M. Fremont Municipal Airport Terminal Building 1203 West 23rd Street, Fremont, Nebraska 1. Meeting called to order with Open Meeting announcement a. Meeting called to order at 8:15 AM by Johnson b. Johnson pointed out the open meeting act that has been posted on the east wall of the terminal room. 2. Roll call a. Dave Monke b. Eric Johnson c. Robert Steenblock d. Ron Vlach e. Michael McGillick f. Mike Kempenar i. City representatives 1. Rian Harkins City Planner a. Jim Kjeldgaard Fixed Base Operator 2. Guest a. Cecilia Harry -Executive Director Greater Fremont Development Council 3. Approval of the October 18, 2013 minutes and the November 22, 2013 special meeting minutes. a. Motion made by Vlach second Steenblock to approve the minutes. b. Roll call vote showed all members voting aye-6 ayes 4. 2014 Airport Capital Improvement Program. a. Rian Harkins reported that the City Council has approved and sent to the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics with the Terminal project as the next project. 5. Terminal Project updates. a. Rian Harkins reported that the Consultants will be at the airport last week of January 2014 to start the field work for the project. b. Public meeting February 2014. c. Meeting with Airport Advisory Board February or March of 2014. 6. Pattern change updates for 14/32. a. Rian Harkins had no report. b. The Committee suggested that he contact Barry Scheinost at the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics c. Since the City of Fremont to the Sponsor for the Airport, Rian will need to make the contact 7. Instrument Approach Updates. a. No discussion 8. Suggestions for replacement of member Dick Wikert. a. Celica Harry b. She will check her calendar to see if the meeting times worked into her schedule  c. If this works for her she will contact Eric Johnson and he will notify Scott Getzschman 9. Adjournment a.
