AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes: April 18, 2014 1. Meeting called to order with Open Meeting announcement. a. Meeting called to order by Ron Vlach b. Vlach pointed out that the meeting is being held in compliance with the Open meetings act as posted on the wall. 2. Roll call. a. Ron Vlach b. Dave Monke c. Mike Steenblock d. Mike Kempenar i. Other representitves 1. David Goedeken, Director of Public Works 2. Jim Kjeldgaard, Fixed Base Operator 3. Approval of the March 21, 2014 meeting minutes. 4. Terminal Project updates. a. Goedeken reported the status of the consultants work on the project. Comments have not been received from elected officials. Board discussed the desire to locate the terminal and maintenance area farther west than Options I – IV of the report. The consultant has prepared a draft Option V moving the terminal west of the hangers near 23rd street. Goedeken reported a discussion he had with Anna Lannan with State regarding her concerns with locating the terminal in this location. Potentially Option V could limit the available usable space. It is the boards desire to continue pursuing this westerly option. 5. Pattern change updates for 14/32. a. Nothing new to report. 6. Aerial Applicators for Spring/Summer of 2014. a. No additional information has been received from applicators. 7. Minor maintenance issues. a. Fuel cell hangar door track needs work. b. Area around new pavement on taxiway needs to be seeded c. Drainage issues south of the fueling station. d. Board requested additional information regarding the farm lease. 8. Adjournment. a. Meeting was adjourned at 9:00 am
