AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Meeting Minutes: September 18, 2015
1. Meeting called to order with Open Meeting announcement.
Meeting was called to order at 8:15 A.M.
2. Roll call.
Board Members Present: Dave Monke, Eric Johnson, Jennifer Weiss-Assman, Ron Vlach, Mike
Kempenar.
Guests: David Goedeken, Jim Kjeldgaard
3. Approval of Amended August 21, 2015 meeting minutes.
Motion by Ron Vlach and seconded by Jennifer Weiss-Assman to approve the August 21, 2015 minutes,
motion passed by vote of members.
4. Terminal Master Plan project update and discussion.
Goedeken reported there has been discussion between Staff and ADG regarding changes to the report.
The changes were based on initial review comments received from the FAA. Johnson reported he has
had discussions with the NDA regarding the study and the need to bring the study to a close and submit
the findings to the FAA and NDA. Goedeken stated he expects a final draft of the report prior to the
October meeting.
5. Review of FAA/NDA CIP.
Goedeken handed out copies of the Airport Capital Improvement Plan for discussion. The board requested
that Staff provide financial reports at the next Airport Board meeting.
6. Review of Pavement Conditions.
Board discussed need to rehab. the pavement conditions on cross wind runway in the event the 23rd Street
Viaduct project is eliminated.
7. Adjournment.

6. Discuss possible closure of Runway 1/19 and update on 23rd Street Viaduct.
7. Discussion of hangar needs.
8. Review of FAA/NDA CIP.
9. Adjournment.
Agenda posted at the Municipal Building and distributed to the Mayor and Board Members on July 15, 2015. The official
current copy is available at City Hall, 400 East Military, City Planning Department Office. The Board reserves the right to go
into Executive Session when necessary. A copy of the Open Meeting Law is posted at the Airport terminal building for review
by the public. The Board reserves the right to adjust the order of items on this agenda.
