AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes: September 16th, 2022 1. Meeting called to order with Open Meeting announcement. Meeting was called to order at 8:15 A.M. Open Meeting Act is posted on the wall of the Airport Terminal, the Act Poster was pointed out to those in attendance. 2. Roll call. Board Members: Present: Kirk Diers, Bill Dugan, Dave Monke, Bob Steenblock, Eric Johnson, Alison Adams, Jeff Peterson Guests: David Goedeken, Jim Kjeldgaard, Greg Kjeldgaard, Steve Landholm, Tom Randall, Ken Cox 3. Approval of the August 19th, 2022 meeting minutes. Motion by Bill Dugan, and seconded by Kirk Diers, to approve the August 19th, 2022 minutes with amendments, motion passed by vote of members, (all voting yes on role call vote) 4. Update on Terminal Projects. Staff reported that the Terminal Project is in the final punchlist phase of construction. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for October 19th. 5. Action Items to discuss. a. Runway Rehab. Olsson Associates has prepared a Scope of Services for the work. The Scope is currently being reviewed by the NDA and FAA for their approval and recommendation. Next step is to seek approval by the City Council b. Future ALP No progress to report. c. Development of Grass Runway Board discussed possibility of using the grass area parallel to the runway during the potential runway rehab project. Staff will reach out to the NDA again for more guidance. d. FBO Hangar  Board discussed setting up a Foundation to help raise funds for FBO maintenance hangar. e. Storage Hangar No progress to report. 6. Discussion of Maintenance Items. Board suggested Staff have signs made for the doors at the new terminal directing visitors to the front door. Reports of weeds growing in the runways and taxiways that should be removed. 7. Adjournment. Motion by Jeff Peterson and seconded by Eric Johnson, to adjourn, motion passed by vote of members, (all voting yes on role call vote) Meeting was adjourned at 9:45 A.M..
