Meeting called to order and announcement of Open Meeting Law 6. Approval of minutes of the 8/16/16 BID meeting 7. Welcome new board members 8. Comments from the public 9. Consideration and possible action on making changes to the proposed BID Resolution based on the city of Fremont’s recommendation. 10. As per Nebraska Statute 19-4021; discussion and preparation of development plan to be re-presented to the Mayor and the City Council for consideration at some time in the future. 11. Next meeting 12. Adjournment Agenda posted at the Municipal Building on Sept. 12, 2016. The Board reserves the right to go into Executive Session when necessary. A copy of the Open Meeting Law is available for review by the public. The Board reserves the right to adjust the order of items on this agenda.  Downtown Improvement District Meeting Minutes August 16th, 2016, 12:00, Grace Church Present: Bob Missel, Glen Ellis, Tom Coday, Howard Krasne, Kevin Main, Absent: Rob George, Richard Register, Others Present: Vince O'Connor, Shannon Mullen, Jerry Johnson, Tara Lea, Brian Newton, Meeting was called to order and it was noted that it was an open public meeting with a copy of the open public meeting law available in the room. Motion was made to approve the minutes of the July 19th, 2016 meeting by Howard Krasne and seconded by Kevin Main. Motion carried. Being that there was no other business meeting was adjourned. Business Improvement District Meeting Minutes Augusts 16th, 2016, 12:00, Grace Church Present: Bob Missel, Glen Ellis, Roxie Kracl, Tom Coday, Howard Krasne, Kevin Main, Vince O'Connor Absent: Gordon Breithaupt, Bill Parks Others Present: Richard Register, Shannon Mullen, Jerry Johnson, Tara Lea, Brian Newton Meeting was called to order and it was noted that it was an open public meeting with a copy of the open public meeting law available in the room. Motion was made to approve the minutes of the July19th meeting by Vince O'Connor and seconded by Howard Krasne. Motion carried. Motion was made by Roxie Kracl and seconded by Vince O'Connor to accept the resignation of Gordon Breithaupt from the BID Board. Motion carried. Motion was made by Howard Krasne and seconded by Vince O'Connor to recommend to the City Council the appointment of Jerry Johnson, Gary Pebley, and Richard Register to the board. Motion carried. Motion was made by Vince O'Connor and seconded by Roxie Kracl to recommend to the Mayor and the City Council to accept the budget as approved at the July 19 th meeting based on .00185 of property valuation on all property inside the Downtown Commercial Zone and to recommend to the Fremont City Council a resolution calling for the creation of a BID (Business Improvement District).
