Baines III, that the above Action Item be adopted. The motion carried

3. GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
3-A ID17-945 Approve in substantial form the Third Amendment to the Amended and
Restated Stadium Sublease Agreement between the City of Fresno and
Fresno Baseball Club, LLC.
The above item was introduced to Council by City Manager Rudd. Mayor
Brand gave thanks to the Staff and Fresno Grizzlies for all their hard work.
Upon call, the following members from the public spoke in support of the
above item, Nathan Alonzo, Fresno Chamber of Commerce and Derek
Franks, Fresno Grizzlies General Manager.
Councilmembers spoke regarding the following: support of the new
ownership, the amount City contributes to the sinking fund, go out for a RFP
for a promoter, has City met their obligations, three different LLC's
ownership groups, 100 event goal to be met, and non relocation pledge
agreement, general fund money, free events for non-profits and amount to
maintain the stadium.

Association (FPOA) Kurtz spoke regarding the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) and the membership division.
City Manager Rudd and Mayor Brand thanked Fresno Police Officers
Association (FPOA) Kurtz for all his hard work.

City Council Adjourned at 3:21 P.M.
The above minutes were approved at the July 20, 2017 meeting with a
motion from Councilmember Brandau and a second by Councilmember
Soria. On a vote of 6-0 with Councilmember Caprioglio absent.
The minutes were re-approved at the August 17, 2017 meeting due to an
error with a motion from Councilmember Caprioglio and a second by Vice
President Soria. On a 5-0 vote with Councilmembers Baines and Bredefeld
absent.
The error was as follows: Resolution number 2017-179 was issued to item
1-B erroneously (item 1-B should have been issued Resolution 2017-176)
and Resolution number 2017-176 was erronneously issued to item
3-B (item 3-B should have been issued Resolution 2017-179). The
corrections are now reflected in the minutes.
