Roll Call Present 4 - Chairperson Michael McDonald, Vice Chair Jack Tracy, Board Member Maryann Rogozinski, and Board Member Lynda Snauffer 2. Approval of Minutes A. June 6, 2016 A motion was made by Board Member Snauffer, seconded by Vice Chair Tracy, that the June 6, 2016 Minutes be approved. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Chairperson McDonald, Vice Chair Tracy, Board Member Rogozinski and Board Member Snauffer B. June 21, 2016 A motion was made by Vice Chair Tracy and seconded by Board Member Snauffer to approve the Minutes of June 21, 2016. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Chairperson McDonald, Vice Chair Tracy, Board Member Rogozinski and Board Member Snauffer 3. Hearing on Disciplinary Appeal A. Closed Session - Continued Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release [Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954] City of Fresno ***Subject to Mayoral Veto Page 1 Civil Service Board Meeting Minutes July 6, 2016 The Board remained in Open Session. The Appointing Authority was not present, but was represented by Tina Griffin, Assistant City Attorney. Heather Phillips, Esq. was present on behalf of the Appellant, who was not present. Both parties presented to the Board for approval a Joint Stipulation and Order to Continue Hearing Dates. The Stipulation was approved by the Board and signed by Chair McDonald. The Hearing was continued for October 26, 2016 and October 27, 2016 beginning at 9:00am. A motion was made by Vice Chair Tracy and seconded by Board Member Snauffer to approve the Stipulation for a continuance. The motion was carried out by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Chairperson McDonald, Vice Chair Tracy, Board Member Rogozinski and Board Member Snauffer 4. Unscheduled Public Communications Ms. Griffin advised the Board that Deputy City Attorney III, Felicia Espinosa, will represent the City on two upcoming hearings, but will be reassigned thereafter, and the City Attorney's Office will be recruiting for an additional attorney to represent the City on labor and employment matters. 5.
