Acting Secretary Designee, Stephanie Martinez, was also present. 2. Approval of Minutes A. November 29, 2016 A motion was made by Member Snauffer, seconded by Vice Chair Tracy, to approve the November 29, 2016 minutes. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: 3 - Chairperson McDonald, Vice Chair Tracy and Board Member Snauffer Absent: 1 - Board Member Rogozinski 3. Old Business The Board convened into closed session at 2:15pm A. Schedule Meeting (s) to Conduct a Public Employee Discipline Appeal Hearing [Pursuant to Fresno Municipal Code Section 3-284] The Appointing Authority was not present, but was represented by James B. Betts, Esq. The Appellant was present and was unrepresented. A hearing was scheduled for April 20 and April 21, 2017 at 9:00am. B. Schedule Meeting (s) to Conduct a Public Employee Discipline Appeal Hearing [Pursuant to Fresno Municipal Code Section 3-284] The Appointing Authority was not present, but was represented by Tina Griffin, Assistant City Attorney. The Appellant was present and was represented by Roger Wilson, Esq., who was not present. A hearing was scheduled for April 11, April 12, and April 13, 2017 at 9:00am. C. Schedule Meeting (s) to Conduct a Public Employee Discipline Appeal Hearing [Pursuant to Fresno Municipal Code Section 3-284] At the request of the Appellant's representative, this item was continued to the January 24, 2017 meeting. D. Schedule Meeting (s) to Conduct a Public Employee Discipline Appeal Hearing [Pursuant to Fresno Municipal Code Section 3-284] The Appointing Authority was not present, but was represented by Assistant City Attorney Tina Griffin. The Appellant was present and was represented by Dustin Ingraham, Esq. A hearing was scheduled for February 13 and February 14, 2017 at 9:00am. The Board reconvened into open session at 2:47pm. 5.
