Approval of Minutes A. October 30, 2018 On motion of Board Member Eller, seconded by Vice Chair Tracy, that the October 30, 2018 minutes be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Vice Chair Tracy, Board Member Eller, Chair McDonald and Board Member Gomez Absent: 1 - Board Member Snauffer 3. Hearing on Appeal A. Closed Session - Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release [Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954] City of Fresno ***Subject to Mayoral Veto Page 1 Civil Service Board Action Summary November 20, 2018 Deputy City Attorney III, Stephanie Snyder, and Personnel Manager of the Department of Development and Resource Management (DARM), Andreia Cuevas, were present on behalf of the Appointing Authority. Attorney at Law, Heather Phillips and Labor Representative, Tony Silva, and the Appellant were also present. Witnesses were sequestered and the reading of the Order was waived by the parties. Exhibits of evidence were presented during testimony. At 9:15am Attorney at Law, Heather Phillips, requested a 5 minute break to collaborate with her client and the Appointing Authority Representative, Deputy City Attorney III, Stephanie Snyder. At 9:50am the Board reconvened into Closed Session. Following deliberation, both parties agreed to a forthcoming Written Modification Agreement and to Withdraw the Civil Service Board Appeal without prejudice. At 9:51am the Board reconvened into Open Session and the decisions of the represented parties and the Board were announced in accordance with the Brown Act. 4.
