Roll Call Present 3 - Board Member Dean Eller, Chair Michael McDonald, and Board Member Elba Gomez Absent 2 - Vice Chair Jack Tracy, and Board Member Lynda Snauffer 2. Approval of Minutes A. January 7, 2019 On motion of Board Member Gomez, seconded by Board Member Eller, that the January 7, 2019 minutes be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3 - Board Member Eller, Chair McDonald and Board Member Gomez Absent: 2 - Vice Chair Tracy and Board Member Snauffer At 9:02am the Board convened into Closed Session. 3. Old Business A. Closed Session - Continued Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release [Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954] City of Fresno ***Subject to Mayoral Veto Page 1 Civil Service Board Meeting Minutes January 16, 2019 Deputy City Attorney III, Stephanie Snyder, and Deputy Chief, Lydia Carrasco, were present on behalf of the Appointing Authority. Attorney at Law, Roger Wilson, and the Appellant were also present. Witnesses were sequestered and the reading of the Order was waived by the parties. Exhibits of evidence and the City's Bench Brief regarding SB1421 and Public Release of Internal Investigation Documents and Officer personnel records were presented during testimony and filed into the record. Upon agreement by both parties the continuation of the Hearing on Appeal was rescheduled for February 8, 2019 and cancelled for January 17, 2019. At 3:08pm, the Board reconvened into Open Session and the decisions of the Board were announced in accordance with the Brown Act. 4. Unscheduled Public Communications None 5.
