REPORTS
2. Parks and Recreation Monthly Report regarding Park and Trail Development,
Facilities, Special Events and Youth Development.
Assistant Director Rick Wieland reviewed the report with the Board and
informed them that The Grove construction is on schedule, the Community
Garden is progressing, and the Frisco Athletic Center is concluding the summer
season.
CONSENT AGENDA
(Items placed on the Consent Agenda are considered routine in nature and are considered non-controversial. The
Consent Agenda can be acted upon in one motion. A majority of the Board is required to remove any item for
discussion and separate action. Board members may vote nay on any single item without comment and may submit
written comments as part of the official record.)
3. Consider and act upon approval of Minutes.
A. July 11, 2019 Regular Meeting of the Frisco Parks and Recreation Board.

REGULAR AGENDA
4. Bicycle Advisory Committee Update.
Assistant Director Rick Wieland updated the Board about the four new members
that were added to the Frisco Bicycle Advisory Committee. Staff is currently
reviewing and updating the Bicycle Advisory Committee Bylaws.
5. Overview of Park Planning Process.
Staff will address at a future meeting.

6. Update on Cityworks.
Parks Services Manager Eddie Camacho gave a report of Service Requests
received by the Parks and Recreation Department for the month of July.
Secretary Sean Merrell asked that the Board be given a report once every three
months.
7. Recommendations for future Agenda topics.
Update on Park Naming Committee.
Sub-Committee report review.
Update of Bicycle Advisory Committee Bylaws.

§ 551.072 – Discussing purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property.
§ 551.074 – Discussing personnel or to hear complaints against personnel.
NOTICE
Pursuant to City of Frisco Ordinance Number 01-04-29 all speakers other than City of Frisco Staff are limited to five (5) minutes per
item except by prior consent of the Parks and Recreation Board.

The George A. Purefoy Municipal Center is wheelchair accessible. Access to the building and special parking are available at the
primary north entrance facing Frisco Square Blvd. Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need
