FRISCO, TEXAS 75034 6:30 PM WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14, 2019 MINUTES CALL TO ORDER 1. ROLL CALL Shawnna Dancer called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM and announced a quorum was present. A. Jennifer Atwood Member Present (6:41 PM) Cindy Burns Vice-Chairman Present Shawnna Dancer Chairman Present Sadaf Haq Secretary Present Chris King Member Absent Ravi Madduri Member Present William Meeker Member Present Also present; Nell Lange – Assistant City Manager, Sarah Carroll – Community Development Manager, Terri Brown – Housing Rehabilitation Specialist, and Rachel Ellis – Grants Coordinator. REPORTS There were no reports. Page 1 of 3 CITIZEN INPUT There was no citizen input. REGULAR AGENDA 2. Consider and Act on the approval of the Meeting minutes for the July 10, 2019, Social Services and Housing Board Special Meeting. William Meeker motioned to approve the minutes for the July 10, 2019, Social Services and Housing Board Meeting. Sadaf Haq seconded the motion. Passed Vote: 5-0 For: Cindy Burns, Shawnna Dancer, Sadaf Haq, Ravi Madduri, William Meeker. Against: (None) 3. Discussion on Social Services and Housing Board Attendance. Sarah Carroll led a discussion regarding the attendance rules for Boards and Commissions as established in Article VIII Sec. 8.01 of the City Charter. 4. Call Public Hearing: Assessment of Fair Housing. Sadaf Haq moved to call a Public Hearing on the Assessment of Fair Housing on September 11, 2019. William Meeker seconded the motion. Passed Vote: 5-0 For: Cindy Burns, Shawnna Dancer, Sadaf Haq, Ravi Madduri, William Meeker. Against: (None) 5. Targeted Down Payment Assistance program application #68. Jennifer Atwood motioned to approve Targeted Down Payment Assistance program application #68. Sadaf Haq seconded the motion. Passed Vote: 6-0 Page 2 of 3 For: Jennifer Atwood, Cindy Burns, Shawnna Dancer, Sadaf Haq, Ravi Madduri, William Meeker. Against: (None) 6. Request for future agenda items. There were no requests for future agenda items. ADJOURN There being no further business, Sadaf Haq made a motion to adjourn. William Meeker seconded the motion.
