Mayor Maher Maso, Mayor Pro-Tem Jeff Cheney, Deputy Mayor Pro-Tem, Bob Allen. Councilman Scott Johnson was absent. Staff Present: Deputy City Manager, Henry Hill, Curt Balogh, Director of Information Technology Services, John Lettelleir, Director of Development Services, Dana Baird, Director of Communications and Media Relations, Marcy Jones, Recreation Services Manager. CITIZEN INPUT No citizens wished to speak. REGULAR AGENDA 1. Discuss names for the Fitness and Health Initiative. Mayor Maso asked that this item be tabled until the next meeting. 2. Discuss the Initiative’s Mission Statement. Mayor Maso asked that this item be tabled until the next meeting. 3. Group discussion of short term goals/objectives. Mayor Maso led a discussion on the short term goals for the initiative. 4. Group discussion of long term goals/objectives. Mayor Maso asked that this item be tabled until the next meeting. 5. Miscellaneous business Mayor Maso stated the Celebration Fitness and Fun event will be held on Saturday, October 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Frisco Athletic Center. 6. Discuss future meeting schedule. The group decided to meet every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise rescheduled.
