CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Rick Travis called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m.

REPORTS
2. Parks and Recreation Monthly Report regarding Park and Trail Development,
Natural Resources, Facilities, Special Events and Youth Development.
Mr. Diamond provided an update on the July Parks and Recreation month
scheduled activities, which included: Live on the Lawn Concert at BF Phillips
Park, and the UFB Tree Tour at Frisco Commons on Saturday, July 27th at
9:00 a.m.
Mr. Diamond also updated the Board on the Preston Garden and the Grove
Projects.
CONSENT AGENDA
(Items placed on the Consent Agenda are considered routine in nature and are considered non-
controversial. The Consent Agenda can be acted upon in one motion. A majority of the Board is required
to remove any item for discussion and separate action. Board members may vote nay on any single item
without comment and may submit written comments as part of the official record.)
3. Consider and act upon the approval of the June 26, 2019 Regular Meeting of
the Urban Forestry Board Meeting Minutes.
Chairman Rick Travis requested to correct the June 26, 2019 minutes to reflect
the following under Regular Agenda, line item #8:
Add to July 24th Agenda to have a pre-tour walk at Frisco Commons
during the meeting.
Align UFB Outreach events with those being held by the Natural
Resources Division.
Update the UFB plan to invite Councilman, Bill Woodard to a fall UFB
Meeting.
Secretary/Treasurer Charles Lamping motioned to table the approval of the
June 26, 2019 Minutes to the August 28, 2019 scheduled UFB Meeting. Board
Member Don Fesh seconded the motion.
Passed

Mr. Witt updated the Board that the Natural Resources Division will hold
monthly strategic meetings scheduled to begin in August 2019.

Invitation of Councilman Bill Woodard Update.
2020 UFB Event Planning.
Arborfest Celebration Update.

Board Member Amiee Fuller motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:18 p.m.

Pursuant to City of Frisco Ordinance Number 01-04-29 all speakers other than City of Frisco Staff are limited to five (5) minutes per
item except by prior consent of the Urban Forestry Board.

The Parks and Recreation Administration Office is wheelchair accessible. Access to the building and special parking are available at
the primary entrance of the building. Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids or
