CITY COUNCIL BOARD LIAISON REPORTS – This time is set aside for Council members to report on the
responsibilities they oversee as liaisons to the City Council and goals they would like to achieve by the next Council
Meeting.

9. CONSENT AGENDA: (These items are considered by the City Council to be routine. If discussion is desired
on any particular item it may be removed from the consent agenda and considered separately.)
9.1. June Check Register
ACTION ITEM APPROVAL – These items need action from the Mayor and City Council.
10. Approve/Deny 2018 Capital Projects Bid and Contract:
BACKGROUND: Bids were opened on July 3, 2018 for the 2018 Capital Projects. The bid
results have been provided for City Councils review and action. City staff’s recommendations are
to approve the 2018 Capital Projects.
11. Approve/Deny recommendations from the Parks Committee for Castle Park Improvements/Upgrades
BACKGROUND: City Council Member Diane Anderson has been working with a parks
committee on design options and recommendations for the Castle Park area of Nicholls Park. City
Council to provide input/direction on the project.
12. INFORMATION ITEMS/UPCOMING EVENTS:

Founders Day Celebration/August 4, 2018
Tour of Utah Bike Race, August 9, 2018
13. PUBLIC COMMENTS – The public may address the Mayor regarding issues that are not on the agenda. We
ask that you please limit your comments to 3 minutes.
No action may be taken on any item not on the agenda
14. CITY STAFF REPORTS - This time is set aside to update the City Council on City Projects that City Staff is
working on. These projects include Public Works Projects and Administrative Projects.

17. ELECTRONIC MEETING: By motion of the Fruit Heights City Council, Elected Officials and City Staff
can participate in regularly scheduled meetings via electronic media when approved by the Mayor.
18. CLOSED MEETING: By motion of the Fruit Heights City Council, pursuant to Title 52, Chapter 4 of the
Utah Code, the City Council may vote to hold a closed meeting for any of the purposes identified in that
chapter.
19. ADJOURNMENT: The Next City Council Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, 2018
