A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, ROLL CALL:
Gahanna Board of Zoning & Building Appeals met in Regular Session
in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 200 South Hamilton Road,
Gahanna, Ohio on Thursday, November 7, 2013. Chair Winkler called
the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; agenda for this meeting was
published on October 18, 2013.
Present 4 - Ben Winkler, Hakim Ben Adjoua, Donald W. Jensen, and Cynthia G.
Canter
Absent 1 - Debra Mecozzi
B. SWEARING IN OF WITNESSES:
City Attorney Shane Ewald gave an oath to those people wishing to
address the Board this evening.
C. PUBLIC HEARING:
Chair read Public Hearing rules that would govern the public hearing.
BZA-0002-2013 To hear an appeal of an administrative order of the Planning & Zoning
Administrator regarding removal of a non-conforming sign at 345 Agler
Road, Dolphin Lounge, Lori Ebright, owner; Edward P. Brueggeman,
attorney, applicant.
Please see transcript attached as Exhibit A.
Motion by Winkler, seconded by Canter, to grant the appeal for
BZA-0002-2013. The motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 4- Winkler, Adjoua, Jensen and Canter
Absent: 1- Mecozzi
Motion by Winkler, seconded by Jensen, to refund the fee paid for the appeal
of BZA-0002-2013. The motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 4- Winkler, Adjoua, Jensen and Canter
Absent: 1- Mecozzi
