Jensen Timothy W. Pack Debra Mecozzi Donna L. Jernigan, MMC Sr. Deputy Clerk of Council Board of Zoning and Building Meeting Minutes January 16, 2014 Appeals A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. Mayor Rebecca W. Stinchcomb called the meeting to order at 6:49 p.m. B. SWEARING IN OF NEWLY APPOINTED MEMBER. Mayor gave the oath of office to Tim Pack and Hakim Adjoua. C. ROLL CALL: Present 5 - Debra Mecozzi, Ben Winkler, Hakim Ben Adjoua, Donald W. Jensen, and Timothy W. Pack D. ELECTION OF CHAIR: A motion was made Adjoua, seconded by Jensen, to nominate Ben Winkler as Chairman. Winkler was elected unanimously. E. ELECTION OF VICE CHAIR: Winkler took the chair and asked for nominations for Vice Chairman . Mecozzi moved,seconded by Jensen, to nominate Adjoua as Vice Chairman. Adjoua was elected unanimously. F. ESTABLISH DAY & TIME FOR REGULAR MEETINGS: Motion by Adjoua, seconded by Mecozzi, to establish day and time of BZA meetings as the 1st and 4th Thursday of each month, as needed, at 6:30 p.m. Motion carried. G. ADOPT RULES OF PROCEDURE: Motion by Adjoua, seconded by Mecozzi to adopt the Rules of Procedure dated January 5, 2012. Motion carried. H. BOARD COMMENTS: Winkler asked if there was any other business for the Board, and Jernigan said not at this time. Winkler said then we will adjourn. I. ADJOURNMENT - 6:54 P.M.; Motion by Pack.
