Ordinance - To Amend by Substitution and Adopt: ORD-0064-2017 TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GAHANNA AND VALUE RECOVERY GROUP (VRG) II IN ORDER TO EXTEND THE REPAYMENT TERM FOR ANOTHER THREE YEARS. This Ordinance was Adopted on the Consent Agenda. Resolutions to Adopt on First Reading: RES-0011-2017 A RESOLUTION STATING GAHANNA'S COMMITMENT TO MORPC'S SUSTAINABLE2050 PROGRAM AND THAT GAHANNA WILL PURSUE THE OBJECTIVES AND INITIATIVES OUTLINED IN THE PROGRAM. This Resolution was Adopted on the Consent Agenda. Motion Resolutions: MR-0027-2017 MOTION RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN TIF ACCOUNTS FOR COUNTY AUDITOR AND TREASURER FEES AND TOWNSHIP COMPENSATION PAYMENTS. TRANSFER DETAIL ATTACHED. This Motion Resolution was Approved on the Consent Agenda. Approval of the Consent Agenda A motion was made by Renner, seconded by Schnetzer, to approve the Consent Agenda. REPRESENTATIVES: Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) - Leeseberg Leeseberg said met two weeks ago; meet again in 2 weeks. Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) - Angelou Angelou said executive committee meets this Thursday; and next meeting is a week from Thursday. Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education - Metzbower Metzbower said next meeting is October 12. Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) - Renner No Update. M. OFFICIAL REPORTS: Mayor Mayor Kneeland thanked Council for passing nearsite wellness center; will see some serious benefits; shared sympathies for what happened in Las Vegas. COUNCIL COMMENT Metzbower echoed Mayor on tradegy; Renner gave shoutout to Pastor Dave Jensen; opened up his church for anyone praying tonight for what happened in Las Vegas; Angelou said same thing; is a tragedy; Leeseberg echoed comments. O. EXECUTIVE SESSION - to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing AND to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(c) of the Council Rules of Procedure to confer with the City Attorney for the public body concerning disputes involving the public body that are the subject of pending or imminent court action. President Larick requested Shane Ewald and Mayor Tom Kneeland attend the Executive Session. Executive Session was held in the Law Library. Council rose to Executive Session at 7:06 p.m. Council rose to report from Executive Session at 7:42 p.m. with no action taken.
