A. CALL TO ORDER - Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, Roll Call
Gahanna City Council met in virtual session on Monday, March 15, 2021, via
Microsoft TEAMS. President of Council, Brian Larick, called the meeting to
order at 7:00 p.m. Vice President of Council, Nancy McGregor, delivered an
Invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Agenda for this meeting was
published on March 12, 2021.

OF THE AUDIO/VIDEO SYSTEM IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS; WAIVING

Mr. Leeseberg said there was a meeting tomorrow at 8 a.m.
Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) - Angelou
Mrs. Angelou presented a report from Mid Ohio Regional Planning.
State of the Region March 31 11-1. It will be virtual this year with Keynote
speaker Jonathan Rose.

Mr. Leeseberg read the CVB report into the minutes. Report is attached.

I. OFFICIAL REPORTS:
Mayor
2021-0050 Mayor's Report, March 15, 2021
Mayor Jadwin presented her Mayor's report which is attached.
Included is information on the statewide vaccination clinic information.

Also smart 911 has rolled out which is helpful to dispatchers in case of
emergency.
City Hall will be reopening with limited access on April 5.
In regards to crime related incidents in the city recently. These incidents
are not limited to Gahanna. We are not immune to what is happening
around us. It is rare for this to happen in Gahanna and we are aware
residents are going to have concerns. No matter the circumstances, the
police are here to serve and protect them. We will always communicate
with our residents and our PD will take every measure they need to serve
and protect our community. If there are any questions, they are happy to
answer- reach out directly to Mr. Winn or Chief Spence.
Mrs. Angelou said she watched the video and it was very well done.

J. COUNCIL COMMENT
Mrs. Angelou wished everyone a nice week. She said Bobbie Burba
was ill and prayers work, she's doing well.
Ms. Bowers said she attached her constituent report for February. She is
appreciating the work that the Mayor and Director Jen Syx gave to the
Creekside Alliance last week. She encourages Council members to
review that or try to get a presentation in the future. She thanked Mr.
Larick for his assistance on revising the Resolution on Civility that will be

presented at committee next week.
Mr. Renner said he was scheduled to get his first shot later this month.
He thanked the Mayor and Chief and Director Winn for the statement.
People on the west side had some concerns. It was a good thing to
know.
Mrs. McGregor went to the ODNR Wildlife Diversity conference which
was virtual. They had over 1600 people on their call. It was on threats on
birds around the world, millipedes in Ohio and snails in Ohio- there are 2
new field guides on these topics are available.
Mr. Larick said that last week Ms. Bowers spent some time going
through the Resolution and made some progress. School is back in
session and safety in the region is important. He is glad he lives in a city
where he can walk at any time of day. It is a representation of the people
that live here.
