Council President Brian Metzbower called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Agenda for this meeting was published on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Present 7 - Brian D. Larick, Jamie Leeseberg, Stephen A. Renner, Michael Schnetzer, Nancy R. McGregor, Brian Metzbower, and Karen J. Angelou B. Motion Resolution: MR-0018-2019 A MOTION RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,040 FROM ACCOUNT 101.08.310.5110 - PARKS SERVICES PART-TIME WAGES TO ACCOUNT 101.08.310.5105 - PARKS SERVICES FULL-TIME WAGES TO FUND THE DIRECTOR OF PARKS & RECREATION TO JULY 1, 2019; $4,215 FROM ACCOUNT 101.08.310.5110 - PARKS SERVICES PART-TIME WAGES TO ACCOUNT 101.08.310.5105 - PARKS SERVICES FULL-TIME WAGES TO FUND THE FORESTRY FOREMAN TO JULY 1, 2019; AND $5,430 FROM ACCOUNT 101.02.000.5105 - MAYOR FULL-TIME WAGES TO ACCOUNT 101.09.000.5105 - PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT FULL-TIME WAGES TO FUND THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER TO JULY 1, 2019. Angelou stated that this should have been passed on Monday; since then, account numbers and amounts to be transferred have been added; we need the time to reevaluate staffing following the passage of issue 12; we need to move the City forward; hoping for a unanimous vote; wants to see good things happen for the City; she thanked GRIT for their efforts in the passage of issue 12. Larick stated that the additional information was helpful but also expected; is concerned with the need for additional time when these cuts were already posed months ago; does not understand why additional City of Gahanna Page 1 City Council - Special Meeting Minutes May 24, 2019 time is needed. A motion was made by Renner, seconded by Angelou, that the Motion Resolution be Approved.
