Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Monday, January 24, 2022, in Council Chambers, Council President Stephen Renner called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Agenda for the meeting was published on January 21, 2022. Present 6 - Karen J. Angelou, Nancy R. McGregor, Kaylee Padova, Michael Schnetzer, Stephen A. Renner, and Trenton I. Weaver Absent 1 - Merisa K. Bowers B. EXECUTIVE SESSION: to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing. Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by McGregor, to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing. Councilwoman Bowers attended Executive Session via teleconference. Council rose to report to Executive Session at 6:04 p.m., held in the Committee Room. Council rose to report from Executive Session at 6:51 p.m., with no action taken.
