Gahanna City Council met in Special session on Monday, February 7, 2022, in Council Chambers; Council President Stephen Renner called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The agenda was published on January 21, 2022. Present 6 - Merisa K. Bowers, Nancy R. McGregor, Kaylee Padova, Michael Schnetzer, Stephen A. Renner, and Trenton I. Weaver Excused 1 - Karen J. Angelou B. EXECUTIVE SESSION: to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing. Motion was made by Schnetzer, seconded by Weaver, to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing. SUSPEND EXECUTIVE SESSION Motion was made by Schnetzer, seconded by Weaver, to suspend Executive Session until after the Regular Meeting of Council. Motion carried with the following vote: Yes: 6- Bowers, McGregor, Padova, Schnetzer, Renner and Weaver D. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Motion was made by Schnetzer, seconded by Weaver, to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual, unless the public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual requests a public hearing.
