CALL MEETING TO ORDER - Roll Call: Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in Council Chambers. President of Council Stephen A. Renner called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m. The agenda for this meeting was published on June 17, 2022. President Renner noted for the record that Councilmember Angelou had joined the meeting via phone. He stated that this was permitted under Ohio law through Sub. HB 51 that had been passed February 9, 2022, as an exception to the Ohio Open Meetings Act (Revised Code 121.22). He noted that this provision expires June 30, 2022. Present 7 - Karen J. Angelou, Merisa K. Bowers, Nancy R. McGregor, Kaylee Padova, Michael Schnetzer, Stephen A. Renner, and Trenton I. Weaver B. EXECUTIVE SESSION: 1. A motion was made by Schnetzer, seconded by Padova, to enter Executive Session under the authority of Section 5.40(A) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment of a public employee or official. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7- Angelou, Bowers, McGregor, Padova, Schnetzer, Renner and Weaver President Renner announced that the Council would meet in the Law Library for Executive Session. Council rose to report to Executive Session at 6:10 p.m. Council rose to report from Executive Session at 6:44 p.m. with no further action.
